Chelsea & Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is currently restructuring  their finance department to provide a more comprehensive and proactive service to the hospital.  Finance will be more closely allied with their specialist or clinical area and will be judged obviously on ongoing financial support but also the commercial guidance they offer in a challenging economic climate.  The Trust has recently appointed two talented Deputy Directors of Finance, both previously from FTSE 100s, to lead the change.

Chelsea and Westminster, a Foundation Trust since 2006, has a reputation for high quality clinical services and is considered one of the more successful and forward thinking Trusts in the country. The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital itself is an acute teaching hospital with a large A&E Department seeing almost 100,000 patients a year, including approximately 30,000 children in a dedicated paediatric A&E. The hospital includes a dedicated elective Treatment Centre, a separate specialist Hand Management Unit and London's principal Burns Unit. They also have the largest HIV unit in Europe.
